ATTITUDE GYROS



Sigma Tek's Attitude Gyros are selected as standard equipment by aircraft and autopilot manufacturers worldwide. They are the recognized industry leaders, offering features and options that improve safety and enhance pilot convenience.

The unique warning flag and cageable options are significant features extremely useful upgrades for owners of light general aviation aircraft. The warning flag model instantly alerts the pilot to a loss of pneumatic power, especially important during busy operations when panel scanning is focused on the attitude gyro. The unique cageable attitude provides for quick erection and display alignment; a high priority for aerobatic aircraft owners and for aircraft operations that require short stops.

Sigma Tek's highly reliable and proven attitude gyros are available with electrical pitch and roll outputs for autopilot and other stabilization applications. ARINC style bezel, display graphics, colors, inclinometer, internal lighting, and various panel tilts are all available options. Sigma Tek Gyros can be customized for compatibility with any instrument panel.    


AIRSPEEDS

Sigma Tek's precision airspeeds are original equipment on a variety of aircraft and over 144,000 have been delivered worldwide.

These proven instruments are totally manufactured in-house by Sigma Tek. They incorporate a proprietary sensing element designed to resist overpressure and to provide for automatic temperature compensation. The true airspeed model includes a sub-dial the pilot sets to coincide the outside temperature with the flight altitude for immediate true airspeed reference.

Sigma Tek's highly accurate and durable airspeeds can be calibrated in either knots, mph, or kilometers, and customized with a choice of speed ranges, dual scales, range marks, and internal lighting.


DIRECTIONAL GYROS



Sigma Tek's Directional Gyros are selected as standard equipment by aircraft and autopilot manufacturers worldwide. They are the recognized industry leaders, offering features and options that improve safety and enhance pilot convenience.

One of the most popular features is the unique heading reminder bug. This feature, previously found only on autopilot gyros, reduces pilot workload and enhances safety. It is a feature that owners of light general aviation aircraft insist on as a very useful upgrade for their aircraft.

Sigma Tek's highly reliable and proven directional gyros are available with electrical heading outputs for autopilot applications. Bootstrap models provide a heading syncro output for heading stabilization applications such as stormscopes, moving maps, and RMI. ARINC style bezel, display graphics, colors, and internal lighting are available options. Sigma Tek Gyros can be customized for compatibility with any instrument panel.

Over the past 40 years, Sigma Tek has custom designed and manufactured reliable, proven instruments for virtually every type of craft that flies. This includes precision modular instrumentation configured to customer's exact specifications. Cluster modules measure 1.44" square, and can be arranged in almost any combination for optimum panel utilization. Individual modules are easily removed for calibration and service.

Additional monitoring instruments include manifold pressure, fuel low, fuel pressure, and fuel quality gauges in single or dual pointer configurations, as well as a 3-in-1 engine gauge that indicates oil pressure, oil temperature, and cylinder head temperature.

Customization of display graphics, scale ranges, range marks, colors, and internal lighting, all ensure performance and appearance compatibility with individual aircraft systems and instrument panels.


CONTROLS / DISPLAY PANELS

Sigma Tek Control/Display Panels are custom designed to meet specific customer requirements. Custom design starts with high quality, reliable basic building blocks that have been proven over time and in field usage. The proprietary components include mechanical and electronic switching assemblies, interchangeable microprocessor-based modules, and engraved edge lighted panels.

The COMM NAV/DME Control/Display Panel, shown above, combines ARINC 700 technology and features with ARINC 500 interface controls. This type of configuration is an extremely cost effective upgrade, enabling replacement of older mechanical controls without changing the aircraft wiring or avionics.

The Optical Shaft Encoder is a proprietary design and an important building block of all Sigma Tek electronic control/display panels. Just 3/4" in diameter, Sigma Tek's detected rotary encoder is designed for long life, high reliability, and unsurpassed tactile feel. Sigma Tek offers single, dual, and triple optical encoders, in a variety of designs, including concentric shafts for switch or potentiometer options.

The Dual VHF COMM, ELT, GPW, HF Data Link, and Audio Selector Panels are examples of Sigma Tek Control/Display Panels designed and manufactured for satisfied customers.

For the past 20 years, Sigma Tek has supported the 1U434 Radio Control Panel -- standard equipment in Cessna Citation aircraft -- through the installation of new units, repairs, and spare parts sales.  Today, many mechanical parts are nonexistent, scarce or obsolete, forcing Sigma Tek to cease supporting this control panel.

Because Sigma Tek is committed to providing customers the best level of support, we designed the 1U619-002 electronic radio control panel to replace the 1U434 and enhance capabilities, reliability, and performance.

    DRY AIR PUMP & ACCESSORIES



Superior pump design, utilization of space-age materials, and advanced manufacturing techniques have made Sigma Tek's Dry Air Pump the best in the industry for performance, reliability, and service life.

Its unique bi-directional rotation design eliminates the need to stock multiple models and makes it impossible to install the wrong rotation pump on an engine. The pump's other unique features include an aluminum rotor and composite vanes.
